Welcome

Welcome incorporated a 2-dimensional graphic of American Sign Language for the word 'Welcome'. By employing a transducer attached to the window behind the work the window became a speaker and a tactile surface for the sound component. The sound element consisted of voices announcing 'Welcome' in a variety of languages.
