Schools Out

The installation Schools Out echoed a primary school classroom of early graders featuring 6 low desks and chairs suitable for the age group. Recorded voices of people of different ages individually reading the books placed on the desks emanated from the desks from transducers placed underneath. The vibrations from the recorded voices could be felt on the top surface of each desk. Each voice could be heard intermittently creating layers of audible stories.
