Small video monitors, media players, mini amps. power cords, power bars, transducers, small handheld cushions, wood, videos, audio components.

Aqua Essence is comprised of six independent underwater audio recordings in six locations in the area of Thessaloniki, Greece while on an artist residency at bEam Arts in Thessaloniki. The installation also includes six videos of the location from where the recordings were made. Each independent audio is channelled to one of six accompanying handheld cushions with transducers inside offering the viewer the immersive sensory experience of the sound and the vibration of each recording. The monitors are muted presenting the sound only through the cushions.
